Chronology

An Iranian American trans man travels back in time to an LGBTQ+ archive to understand his sexuality. He encounters his past and present during an erotic journey of self-discovery. As the interviewees discuss the uncertainty and challenges of being new and different within an already established community. The insight provided into the risks this community faces feels eye-opening, but not in the traditional sense. I felt like the stories within this film simply showed me how to focus on issues that are hidden from view. I recommend this film. We learn more about ourselves by learning about those around us. I definitely got an education through this particular film.
