Chronology

An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; figuring out if their relationship will survive their wildly different lives and interfering families. Originally titled “Shiksa”, which is also the last word of the first episode. Really enjoying this series, it takes me back to my single and dating days and puts a smile on my face. It touches on very relatable and relevant topics (when it comes to dating and dating culture) on such a realistic level, and does it in a refreshingly seamless way that dating should be, honest dialogue, no games. Their chemistry is very sweet (of course it helps that they’re both experienced, skilled actors individually) and it’s a wonderful watch that brings back all those nostalgic feelings. Kristen Bell, I’ve been following her since I was a young girl watching Veronica Mars. And Adam Brody, my husband, looked at the TV and said, he hasn’t changed since The O.C., he’s right.
